Location Melville, NY/Jacksonville FL

Duration: Long Term

 

Application Operations Key activities within each area

v  Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers across Engineering, QA, Staging, Demo, and Production environments

v  Responsible for the operation and administration of Application Deployment technologies for all environments

v  Responsible for the operation and administration of Web Content Management Systems

v  Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance and availability. Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.

v  Domain Operations Responsible for the operation, and administration of network and server monitoring, in regards to web hosting

v  Performs server troubleshooting and patching as needed. Performs SQL server troubleshooting in support of Application Operations

v  Communications / Team work Work collaboratively with all members of the organization and foster open communication between departments

v  Work independently on assigned tasks and keep manager informed of project status and issues

v  Interface and work collaboratively with project management, quality assurance, customer support, and other team members to resolve issues

v  Act as an escalation point for issues within the department. Assist the Senior Web Application Administrator as requested

          

Requirements: -

v  Need to be familiar with Windows 2008 R2

v  Need to have working experience with IIS 7.5

v  Comfortable working with IIS 7.5 - websites, virtual directories, application Pools, etc.

v  Familiar with basic IIS security

v  General Windows Sys admin experience

    

Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5-7 years of industry experience with an emphasis on IIS, Web Administration
