Ikanos;
It could have been a chartered flight. Or, just a regular flight was not sold out.
I once flew a Sabena airlines flight from Oakland, CA to Brussels with about 80 on board. And this was an Airbus 330 that carries over 270.

R.I.P., all the 50 abruptly soul - departed.
Sometimes I too wonder how an airlines co.
survives, while operating almost half empty.
Could this be one reason maintenance
as parts replacement might be an issue.
In Africa many local airlines collapse/d
because of carrying too many of the staff
& staff members' relatives freely of charge.
Either way, may all thedeparted souls R.I.P.
until we reunite again someday in future.
- Peace.
